한국수력원자력(한수원)은 지난 30일 서울 한수원 방사선보건원에서 ‘체코 두코바니 원전사업 보조기기 입찰설명회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 체코 두코바니 신규 원전 건설사업이 보조기기 공급사 등록을 거쳐 실제 입찰과 구매 절차로 넘어감에 따라 국내 기업들이 관련 요건을 미리 파악하고 입찰을 준비할 수 있도록 마련됐다.
이날 설명회에는 체코 원전사업 유자격 공급사 등록을 마쳤거나 현재 등록 심사를 받고 있는 국내 보조기기 업체 관계자 130여 명이 참석했다.
한수원은 참석 기업들을 대상으로 보조기기 입찰 일정과 체코 원전사업 전자상거래 시스템 활용 방법을 비롯해 계약자 품질관리 계획, 주요 계약조건, 기술평가 기준 등 입찰 과정에서 필요한 실무 정보를 안내했다.
이를 통해 국내 공급사들이 체코 원전사업의 입찰 절차와 요구사항을 구체적으로 이해하고 실제 참여를 체계적으로 준비할 수 있도록 지원했다.
수출 과정에서 필요한 실무 역량을 높이기 위한 프로그램도 함께 마련됐다. 한국무역협회 FTA 통상종합지원센터 최정식 단장이 설명회에 참석해 원전 기자재 수출기업을 대상으로 FTA 컨설팅 서비스와 원산지 관리에 관한 정보를 제공했다.
한수원은 이를 통해 국내 공급사들이 입찰 준비뿐만 아니라 수출 및 원산지 관리 분야에서도 필요한 역량을 갖추는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
최일경 한수원 사업총괄본부장은 “체코 원전사업의 성공적인 추진을 위해서는 기술력과 경험을 갖춘 국내 공급사들의 적극적인 참여가 중요하다”며 “이번 설명회가 국내 기업들이 실질적인 입찰 기회를 확보하고 해외 원전시장으로 진출하는 발판이 될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
한수원은 앞으로도 체코 두코바니 원전사업을 차질 없이 추진하는 동시에 국내 원전산업 생태계의 경쟁력을 높이고, 국내 기업들이 체코를 비롯한 글로벌 원전시장에 진출할 수 있도록 협력과 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) has stepped up support for domestic nuclear equipment suppliers to facilitate their participation as the Czech Dukovany new nuclear power plant project enters the full-scale bidding phase.
KHNP announced that it held a "Tender Briefing for Auxiliary Equipment for the Czech Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant Project" on the 30th at the KHNP Radiation Health Institute in Seoul.
The event was organized to help domestic companies understand relevant requirements and prepare for bidding in advance, as the Dukovany project transitions from supplier registration to actual tendering and procurement procedures.
Approximately 130 representatives from domestic auxiliary equipment companies—either already registered as qualified suppliers for the Czech project or currently undergoing the registration review process—attended the briefing.
KHNP provided attendees with practical information essential to the bidding process, including the tender schedule, instructions on using the project's e-commerce system, contractor quality control plans, key contract terms, and technical evaluation criteria.
Through this initiative, KHNP supported domestic suppliers in gaining a concrete understanding of the bidding procedures and requirements, enabling them to systematically prepare for actual participation.
A program designed to enhance practical capabilities required for the export process was also included. Choi Jeong-sik, Head of the FTA Trade Support Center at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), attended the briefing to provide information on FTA consulting services and rules of origin management to the nuclear equipment export companies.
KHNP expects these efforts to help domestic suppliers build the necessary capabilities not only for bid preparation but also in the areas of exports and rules of origin management. Choi Il-kyung, Head of the Project Division at KHNP, stated, “The active participation of domestic suppliers possessing the necessary technical expertise and experience is crucial for the successful execution of the Czech nuclear power plant project.” He added, “We will provide active support to ensure this briefing serves as a stepping stone for domestic companies to secure tangible bidding opportunities and enter the overseas nuclear power market.”
Moving forward, KHNP plans to proceed with the Czech Dukovany nuclear power project without setbacks while simultaneously enhancing the competitiveness of the domestic nuclear industry ecosystem and continuing to provide cooperation and support to help domestic companies enter global nuclear markets, including the Czech Republic.
