장동혁 국민의힘 당 대표는 9월12일치 페이스북에 게재한 글에서 “이재명 대통령, 틈만 나면 집값 폭락할 거라고 큰소리칩니다. 그런데 정작 ‘명픽’들조차 그 말을 안 믿습니다.”고 전제하고 “이재명 대통령 ‘기본주택’ 설계자인 국토부장관 후보자, 바로 작년에 장모 찬스까지 써서 ‘영끌’로 아파트 샀습니다. 그렇게 산 아파트가 1년 만에 4억이 올랐습니다. ‘이재명 무죄’를 외치는 ‘대장동 변호인’ 출신 법제처장은 대학원생 딸에게 돈을 줘서 ‘갭투자’에 나섰습니다. 이것도 작년, 이재명 정권 출범 직후에 벌어진 일입니다. 7억 전세끼고 산 14억 아파트가 1년 만에 20억이 됐습니다.”고 피력했다.
