충남 당진시가 갑작스러운 강풍으로 인한 인명 및 시설물 피해를 막기 위해 시민들을 대상으로 사전 대비와 안전 수칙 준수를 강력히 당부하고 나섰다.
당진시는 8일 행정안전부의 기준을 바탕으로 제작된 ‘강풍 대응 국민행동요령’을 안내하며 본격적인 안전 예찰 및 홍보 활동에 돌입했다.
당진시가 제시한 주요 준수사항은 강풍 특보 발효 시 야외 활동 자제 ,창문 및 출입문 흔들림 방지 보강 ,외부 노출 물건 내부 이동 ,가설물 및 취약 시설물 사전 고정 ,낙하물 및 감전 사고 주의 ,전도 위험 구역 내 차량 이동 등이다.
특히 간판, 공사 자재, 가설 구조물 낙하나 수목 쓰러짐 등은 대형 인명사고로 직결될 수 있는 만큼, 바람이 강해지기 전 주변 위험 요소를 선제적으로 정비하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다고 재차 강조했다.
김기재 당진시장은 “강풍은 사전 예고 없이 찾아와 순식간에 시설물 파손과 안전사고를 유발하는 만큼 선제적 대응이 필수적”이라며 “기상 예보를 수시로 확인해 야외 활동을 삼가고, 생활 주변 위험 요소를 미리 점검하는 등 피해 예방에 적극적으로 협조해달라”고 당부했다.
