IU Unveils Concept Photos for New Digital Single ‘From This Star’... Transforms into Short Hair
To be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 10th
Break News Reporter Park Dong-je = Singer and actress IU has released concept photos for her new digital single, ‘From This Star,’ raising anticipation.
Her agency, EDAM Entertainment, released the concept photos for the new digital single ‘From This Star’ via IU’s official social media channels at midnight on the 8th.
In the released photos, IU is seen wearing a spacesuit and moving around inside a spaceship, appearing as if she is traveling through space. From gazing at the vast universe and the blue Earth outside the window to spending time inside the spaceship holding a helmet, she presented stylish visuals reminiscent of a scene from a movie.
Another photo captures IU without the spacesuit. Dressed in a gray knit sweater and staying inside a spaceship, IU exudes an atmosphere distinct from her previous appearances. She has also unveiled a new visual by transforming from her long hair into a surprise bob.
Previously, IU heightened curiosity about her new album by sequentially releasing details such as the tracklist, starting with a comeback teaser. As the concept photos continue the space-themed imagery that has permeated her previous teaser content, attention is focused on how this will connect to the new songs.
IU's new digital single, "From This Star," includes a total of two songs: the double title tracks "From This Star" and "Dear My Crazy Soulmate." IU personally wrote the lyrics for both songs. The release is garnering even more anticipation as it serves as a pre-release single for tracks from her upcoming 6th studio album.
Meanwhile, IU's new digital single, "From This Star," will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 10th.
