진실에게 무게가 있다면
가벼 울까 무거 울까?
거짓에게 무게가 있다면
무거 울까 가벼 울까?
진실이 지닌 무게는
아마도 무겁고 무거 울 거야
진실을 물에 집어넣는다면
아마 맨 밑에 가라앉을 거야
거짓은 무겁지 아니하고 가벼 우니
있으나마나한 검불처럼 물 위에 둥둥 떠다니다가
어디론가 없어지고 말거야.

[Poem] Truth and Lies

If truth had weight,
would it be light or heavy?
If lies had weight,
would they be heavy or light?
The weight that truth possesses,
is probably heavy, very heavy.
If truth were put into water,
it would probably sink to the very bottom.
Since lies are not heavy but light,
it would float on the water like worthless dry twigs,
and eventually disappear somewhere.
