청와대가 12일 원산 일대서 동해상으로 탄도미사일을 발사한 북한 도발 행위에 "북의 탄도미사일 발사는 유엔 안전보장이사회 결의를 위반하는 도발 행위로 즉각 중단을 촉구한다"고 밝혔다.
청와대는 이날 오전 언론 공지를 통해 국가안보실이 국방부·합동참모본부 등 관계기관이 참석한 가운데 긴급 안보상황 점검회의를 열고 "6일에 이어 북의 계속된 탄도미사일 발사에 우려를 표한다"며 이같이 전했다.

북의 이같은 거듭된 도발 행위는 오는 17일 예정된 한·미 연합 군사훈련 '을지 자유의 방패(UFS)'에 앞서 지속되는 형국이다.
합참은 이날 오전 6시께 북 원산 일대서 동해상으로 발사된 탄도미사일이 포착된 가운데 "추가 발사 대비 감시·경계를 강화했다"며 "한·미·일은 관련 정보를 긴밀히 공유하며 만반의 대비 태세를 유지 중"이라고 전했다.
