브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 홍명보 전 축구 국가대표팀 감독 선임 과정에서 불거진 의혹을 수사중인 경찰이 대한축구협회와 축구회관 등에 대한 압수수색에 나섰다.
6일 경찰에 따르면, 서울경찰청 광역수사단 금융범죄수사대는 이날 대한축구협회가 있는 충남 천안 축구센터와 서울 종로구 축구회관 등에 수사관을 보내 압수수색 영장을 집행했다.
경찰이 이번 사건과 관련해 강제수사에 나선 건 이번이 처음으로, 압수수색 영장에는 업무방해 등 혐의가 적시된 것으로 파악됐다.
경찰은 지난 4일 홍명보 전 감독을 피의자이자 참고인 신분으로 소환해 첫 조사를 마쳤다.
앞서 시민단체 서민민생대책위원회(서민위)는 지난달 2일 대한축구협회 운영과 국가대표팀 감독 선임 과정에 문제가 있었다며 정몽규 전 대한축구협회장과 홍명보 전 감독 등을 업무방해, 업무상 배임 등 혐의로 고발했다.
