홍천군은 오는 22일 홍천전통시장 내에 위치한 현장 소통 공간 ‘홍천 이음터’에서 ‘군수와 군민과의 소통의 날’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

‘군수와 군민과의 소통의 날’은 군민들이 일상에서 겪는 각종 생활 불편과 고충, 건의 사항 등을 현장에서 직접 나누고 해결 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련된 열린 소통 창구다. 특히 유동 인구가 많은 전통시장 내에 조성된 ‘홍천 이음터’는 군민 누구나 편하게 찾아와 군정과 민원을 상담할 수 있도록 접근성을 대폭 높였다.
이날 행사에는 신영재 홍천군수가 직접 홍천 이음터를 찾아 현장을 찾은 군민들과 마주 앉아 진솔한 대화를 나눌 예정이다. 군은 현장에서 접수된 다양한 의견들을 관련 부서와 즉각 공유하여 구체적인 처리 방향을 검토하고, 향후 군정 운영에 적극적으로 반영할 방침이다.

홍천군은 앞으로도 이음터를 거점 삼아 군민의 작은 목소리 하나까지 놓치지 않는 현장 행정을 펼치는 한편, 전통시장을 찾는 방문객들에게 지역 관광 정보와 우수 음식점 등을 안내하며 지역 상권 활성화에도 시너지 효과를 더할 계획이다.
