남동구에 따르면 오는 8월 24일까지 진행되는 이번 동 방문은 이병래 구청장 취임 후 첫 주민 소통 행보로, 현장의 생생한 목소리를 듣고 이를 구정에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
일정 첫날인 20일 간석4동 동 방문에서 이병래 구청장은 ‘민선 9기 구정 비전’을 직접 발표하며 민선 9기 구정 철학과 새로운 전환기를 맞이한 남동구의 운영 방안을 주민들과 공유했다.
이병래 구청장은 이 자리에서 격의 없는 대화로 동 지역 현안과 생활 불편 등 주민들의 다양한 건의 사항을 청취했고, 이후 ‘석촌경로당’을 방문해 어르신들의 경로당 애로사항을 청취하고 노후 시설을 살피는 등 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
특히, 보도블록 파손이 심해 정비가 필요하다는 주민 건의를 접수한 뒤 즉시 관내 해당 현장으로 이동했다.
이 구청장은 현장에서 관계 부서장들과 함께 문제점을 확인하고 조속한 개선 방안을 논의했다.
