장동혁 당 대표는 조속한 수해 지원과 경제 정책 대전환을 요구하며 불필요한 당무 개입 중단을 주장했다. 정점식 원내대표는 자본시장 교란에 대한 책임을 물어 청와대 정책실장의 즉각적인 경질을 요구하고, 특검 기간 연장 시도를 입법 독주로 규정하며 강경 대응을 예고했다.

장동혁 당 대표, “수해·민생위기 외면 李대통령, 불필요한 당무 개입 중단해야”
먼저, 장동혁 대표는 지난 주말 발생한 전국적인 호우 피해 상황을 짚으며 말문을 열었다. 장 대표는 “지난 주말 큰비로 경북을 비롯한 전국에서 크고 작은 수해가 발생했다”며 “정부 당국은 조속한 피해 복구와 주민 지원에 최선을 다해주길 바라고, 국민의힘도 필요한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 최근 한국은행의 기준금리 인상과 정부의 부동산 및 경제 정책에 대해 정조준했다. 장 대표는 “기준금리가 0.25%p 인상되면서 자영업자와 주택담보대출 등의 이자 부담이 늘어나 우리 국민들은 가만히 앉아서 빚이 5조 1천억 원 늘었다”고 지적했다. 그러면서 “정부는 예산 800조 원 시대를 선언하며 국민에게는 허리띠를 졸라매라면서 돈을 펑펑 쓰겠다는 것”이라며 “결국 이재명 정권의 목표는 부자 정부, 가난한 국민이며 좌파 정책을 고집하다 경제가 폭망한 나라들의 뒤를 그대로 따라가고 있다”고 비판했다. 그는 “더 늦기 전에 경제 정책을 대전환할 것을 다시 한번 촉구한다”고 목소리를 높였다.
장 대표는 정부의 사관학교 통합 추진과 국방 안보 정책에 대해서도 강한 우려와 경고를 보냈다. 그는 “항구도 없고 활주로도 없는 자운대로 사관학교를 통합하겠다는데, 전문성이 떨어지는데 합동성이 강화될 리가 없다”며 “사관학교 통합 반대가 55%에 달하는데도 졸속으로 밀어붙이는 것은 군을 정치화해서 정권의 도구로 쓰려 했던 베네수엘라 차베스 정권의 전철을 밟는 것”이라고 주장했다. 아울러 “해군 장병이 죽어가는데 대통령은 태연하게 골프를 치고 있었다”며 “국가 안보는 이념이나 정치, 실험의 대상이 아니므로 사관학교 통합 작업을 즉각 중단하라”고 경고했다.
또한, 야당 탄압용으로 규정한 정치 특검의 예산 낭비를 지적하며 역제안을 내놓았다. 장 대표는 “이재명 정권의 4대 정치 특검이 임대료 비싼 사무실을 얻고 초호화 인테리어를 하느라 국민 혈세 64억 원을 썼다”며 “정치 특검을 그만하고 참정권 회복과 헌법 수호를 위한 국민특검을 해야 한다”고 제안했다.

그는 “시가총액의 50%가 넘는 특이한 조건에서 레버리지 ETF 도입은 변동성을 극단화시키는 것이 당연하다”며 “지난 5월 상품 출범 이후 사이드카가 18번, 서킷브레이커가 5번 작동했고 투자자 수익률이 반토막 수준으로 녹아내렸다”고 구체적인 수치를 제시했다. 정 원내대표는 “이 모든 원인은 코스피 상승이 마치 본인들 업적인 줄 착각하고 상품 도입을 무리하게 졸속 추진한 정부에 있다”며 “정부가 국민을 상대로 주식 리딩방을 운영한 꼴”이라고 비판했다. 이어 “선관위가 국민의 참정권을 침해했다면 청와대는 국민의 재산권을 침해한 것”이라며 “대통령은 주식시장 정상화에 대한 의지를 보여주기 위해 김용범 정책실장을 즉각 경질하라”고 촉구했다.
