브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 혼성그룹 카드(KARD / 비엠, 제이셉, 전소민, 전지우)가 데뷔 9년 만에 해체한다.
소속사 DSP미디어는 6일 공식 홈페이지를 통해 “카드는 오는 28일 데뷔 첫 정규 앨범 'Where To Now? (Part.2) : NOWHERE'를 발매한 뒤 월드투어에 돌입한다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “당사는 네 멤버와 신중한 논의 끝에 이번 활동을 끝으로 카드의 여정을 마무리하기로 합의했다”며 해체 소식을 알렸다.
그러면서 “오랜 시간 카드와 동행해 준 히든카드(HIDDEN KARD·팬덤명) 여러분께 다시 한번 감사하다는 말씀 드리며, 멤버들이 각자의 자리에서 이어갈 새로운 앞날에도 따뜻한 응원과 격려 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
마지막으로 “멤버들이 온 마음을 다해 준비한 새 앨범과 투어가 여러분께 소중한 추억으로 남기를 바란다. 마지막까지 가장 카드다운 모습으로 채워질 이번 활동에 변함없는 관심 부탁드린다”고 덧붙였다.
카드의 정규 1집 'Where To Now? (Part.2) : NOWHERE'는 오는 28일 오후 6시 각종 음원 사이트를 통해 발매된다.
