The Gayadori Baseball Team advanced to the finals by displaying overwhelming performance throughout the tournament. Following a 12-0 mercy rule victory against Sangju City Hall in the preliminary round, they easily defeated the Andong Office of Education 11-1 in the quarterfinals. They continued their unstoppable run in the semifinals and finals, defeating the Andong Fire Station 9-4 and the Pohang Fire Station 11-3, respectively.
