브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 2026 북중미 월드컵에서 충격의 조별리그 탈락을 당한 대한민국 축구 국가대표팀의 국제축구연맹(FIFA) 랭킹이 32위까지 떨어졌다.
29일(한국 시각) 실시간으로 반영되는 FIFA 남자 축구 세계 랭킹에 따르면 한국은 랭킹 점수 1558.72점을 기록하며 32위에 자리했다.
한국의 FIFA 랭킹이 30위권 밖으로 밀려난 것은 2021년 12월(33위) 이후 4년 6개월 만에 처음이다.
대표팀은 2022년 2월 29위에 진입한 이후 줄곧 20위권을 유지해 왔으며, 이번 월드컵 본선 직전까지만 해도 25위를 유지하고 있었다. 월드컵 조별리그 1차전 직후에는 한때 22위까지 상승하기도 했으나, 이후 치러진 경기 결과가 실시간으로 반영되면서 순위가 급락했다.
