지난 3월 진행된 버팀이음 프로젝트 1차 사업을 통해 관내 일용직 근로자와 화물운송 종사자 3,995명에게 1인당 50만 원씩 지원금을 지급한 바 있는 충남 서산시가 지역 내 석유화학산업 근로자들의 고용 유지와 생활 안정을 돕기 위해 대규모 재정 지원에 나선다.
서산시는 국비 13억 원을 투입해 '버팀이음 프로젝트 2차 사업'을 시행하고, 오는 6월 12일까지 지원금 신청을 받는다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 2차 지원 사업은 서산 지역 석유화학기업에 근무하는 근로자를 대상으로 하며, 부양가족 수에 따라 최소 50만 원에서 최대 80만 원까지 서산사랑상품권으로 차등 지급한다.
지원 대상은 한국표준산업분류 기준 코크스·연탄 및 석유정제품 제조업(C19) ,화학물질 및 화학제품 제조업(C20) ,고무 및 플라스틱제품 제조업(C22)에 속하는 관내 기업 재직자다. 시는 약 1,600여 명의 근로자가 이번 사업의 혜택을 볼 것으로 전망했다.
지원을 희망하는 근로자는 대산읍 행정복지센터나 서산상공회의소를 직접 방문해 신청하면 된다. 전용 홈페이지(충남버팀이음.kr)를 통한 온라인 접수도 가능하다.
