시흥시, ‘2025년 기준 경제총조사’ 실시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 6월 1일을 시작으로 오는 7월 22일까지 관내 사업체를 대상으로 2025년 기준 경제총조사를 실시한다.

경제총조사는 우리나라 산업 전반의 구조와 분포, 고용 현황 등을 파악하기 위해 5년마다 실시하는 국가승인통계 조사다. 조사 결과는 국가 및 지방자치단체의 경제정책 수립과 지역경제 분석, 각종 통계 작성의 기초자료로 활용된다.

이번 조사는 2025년 12월 31일 기준 시흥시에서 산업활동을 수행하는 3만 8498개 사업체를 대상으로 진행된다. 조사 항목은 사업체명과 소재지, 종사자 수, 연간 매출액 등 공통항목을 포함해 업종별 특성을 반영한 총 38개 항목이다. 조사는 온라인 조사와 방문 면접조사를 병행한다.

온라인 조사는 6월 1일부터 30일까지 PC와 모바일을 통해 경제총조사 누리집에서 참여할 수 있으며 온라인 조사에 참여하지 않은 사업체를 대상으로 6월 12일부터 7월 22일까지 조사원이 직접 방문해 면접조사를 진행한다. 시는 조사 인력 182명을 투입하며 수집된 내용은 통계법에 따라 철저히 보호된다.

이번 조사는 시흥시 관내 전반의 산업 구조와 고용 현황을 정확하게 파악하여 지역 맞춤형 경제정책을 수립하는 데 단단한 초석을 마련한다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
