전남도는 지난 20일 도청 서재필실에서 강위원 경제부지사 주재로 ‘2027년 국고 건의사업 중앙부처 반영 중간 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 보고회는 올해 초 두 차례의 발굴 보고회를 통해 도출된 국고 건의사업들이 부처별 예산요구서에 얼마나 반영되었는지 면밀히 점검하고, 미반영되었거나 반영이 불확실한 사업들에 대한 구체적인 대응책을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
이날 각 실·국장들은 소관 사업의 부처별 반영 현황과 미반영 사유를 공유하고, 향후 기획처 심의 단계에서 이를 뒤집기 위한 논리 보강 및 설득 전략을 집중 논의했다.
특히 전남도는 최근 추진 중인 행정통합과 맞물려 민생경제 회복은 물론, 에너지·농수산·관광·사회간접자본(SOC) 등 미래 지역 활력을 이끌 핵심 사업에 국가 재정 지원이 필수적이라고 보고 있다. 이에 따라 정부예산안이 확정되는 순간까지 중앙부처와 기획처를 상대로 한 전방위적 건의 활동을 한층 강화할 방침이다.
강위원 경제부지사는 “지금은 2027년 국고 확보 여부를 판가름하는 중요한 분기점”이라며 “중앙부처의 반영 현황을 냉정하게 파악하고, 미반영 사업은 사유와 쟁점을 철저히 분석해 기재부 심의 단계에서 다시 반영될 수 있도록 구체적인 전략을 수립해야 한다”고 강조했다.
이어 강 부지사는 “이미 반영된 사업은 정부안 확정 시까지 끝까지 사수하고, 미반영 사업은 논리와 명분을 더 탄탄하게 보강해야 한다”며 “오는 8월 말 정부예산안이 최종 확정될 때까지 도의 핵심 사업들이 대거 포함될 수 있도록 실·국과 예산담당관실이 ‘원팀’이 되어 총력 대응해 달라”고 당부했다.
