포천시는 오는 29일까지 관내 포천사랑상품권 가맹점을 대상으로 상품권 부정 사용 예방 및 공정한 유통 문화 정착을 위한 집중 단속을 실시한다고 20일 밝혔다.
주요 단속 대상은 물품 판매나 서비스 제공 없이 상품권을 수취·환전하는 행위, 실제 매출 금액을 초과하여 상품권을 수취·환전하는 행위, 등록 제한 업종을 운영하는 행위 등이다. 아울러 가맹점이 상품권 결제를 거부하거나 상품권 사용 시 현금영수증 발급을 거부하는 행위도 포함된다.
단속 결과 위반 사항이 확인될 경우, 시는 「지역사랑상품권 이용 활성화에 관한 법률」에 의거해 가맹점 등록 취소 및 과태료 부과 등 엄정한 행정조치를 취할 예정이다.
지역화폐 부정유통 의심 사례를 발견한 시민은 부정유통 신고센터(☎031-538-3200)를 통해 신고할 수 있다.
