(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 오는 6월 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 인천 송도컨벤시아에서 수도권 유일의 해양특화전시회‘2026 국제 해양․안전대전(KOREA OCEAN EXPO 2026)’이 열린다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 전시회는 시와 해양경찰청이 주최하고, 인천관광공사와 리드케이훼어스가 주관하는 것으로 2013년 첫 개최 됐으며 2024년 행사에서는 약 200개 기업이 참가하고 17,000여 명의 참관객이 방문하며 역대 최대 실적을 기록한 바 있다.
올해는 전년보다 더욱 풍성한 비즈니스 프로그램과 시민 체험 행사를 마련해 기업과 구매자, 일반 참관객 모두를 만족시킬 계획이다.

또한, 해양산업의 대표 콘퍼런스인‘코마린콘퍼런스’등 20여 개의 다양한 전문 세미나가 열려 산학 전문가와 관계자들 간 활발한 정보 교류와 협력의 장이 펼쳐질 것으로 기대된다.
또, 일반 시민들이 즐길 수 있는 다양한 해양 안전 체험 프로그램이 운영되며 특히, 올해 처음으로 도입된‘해양경찰 순환식 체력검정 체험장’이 가장 큰 기대를 모으고 있다.
