<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 강원도 원주시 단구동에 위치한 현진에버빌1차아파트가 이웃 사랑을 실천하는 원주시의 11번째 '천사아파트'로 공식 지정되며 지역사회의 귀감이 되고 있다.
원주시와 시민서로돕기 천사운동본부는 지난 15일 현진에버빌1차아파트에서 김운성 입주자대표회의 의장 및 입주민, 김남희 원주시 복지국장, 박명옥 단구동장, 박만호 천사운동본부장, 이상혁 천사지킴이연합회장 등이 참석한 가운데 천사아파트 지정 기념식과 현판식을 개최했다고 18일 밝혔다.

'천사아파트'는 원주시의 대표적인 나눔 캠페인인 1인 1계좌(1,004원) 갖기 '천사운동'에 신규로 참여하는 입주민이 100명 이상일 경우, 해당 아파트를 천사아파트로 공식 지정하고 현판을 수여하는 의미 있는 사업이다.
단구동 현진에버빌1차아파트는 지난해 7월부터 천사아파트 지정을 목표로 단지 내에 홍보 부스를 자체적으로 운영하며 신규 후원자 모집에 적극 나섰다. 그 결과 입주민 106명이 자발적으로 뜻을 모아 총 259계좌에 가입하는 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두며 영예로운 제11호 천사아파트 타이틀을 얻게 됐다.
