[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] ‘2026 춘계 전국 남·여 대학유도연맹전’이 오는 19일부터 21일까지 3일간 합천다목적체육관에서 열린다.
한국대학유도연맹과 경남유도회, 합천유도회가 공동 주최·주관하는 이번 대회에는 전국 대학 유도 강호 선수단과 임원 등 400여 명이 참가해 개인전과 단체전에서 기량을 겨룬다.
대회 첫날인 19일에는 유도계 관계자와 내빈들이 참석한 가운데 개회식이 진행되며, 대학 유도 최강자를 가리는 본격적인 승부가 펼쳐질 예정이다.
합천군은 이번 대회가 전국 규모 체육행사를 통한 지역 홍보와 스포츠 관광 활성화에 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 특히 참가 선수단과 관계자 방문으로 숙박·외식업 등 지역 상권에도 경제적 파급효과가 이어질 전망이다.
장재혁 합천군수 권한대행은 “선수들이 그동안 갈고닦은 기량을 유감없이 발휘하고 안전하게 경기를 치를 수 있도록 대회 운영과 시설 관리에 최선을 다하겠다”며 “앞으로도 스포츠 마케팅을 통한 지역경제 활성화와 유도 저변 확대에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
