16일 국립중앙과학관서 ‘꿈의오케스트라 대전’ 야외 공연 개최
클래식부터 영화 OST까지 다채로운 구성… 신입 단원들의 첫 합주 ‘눈길’
대전의 아동·청소년들이 음악으로 소통하고 성장한 결실을 시민들과 나누는 특별한 야외 음악회가 열린다.
대전문화재단은 오는 5월 16일 오후 3시 국립중앙과학관 원두막 쉼터에서 2026 꿈의오케스트라 ‘꿈의 향연 – 대전’ 공연을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 협력하는 이번 프로젝트는 전국 거점기관들이 5월 한 달간 동시다발적으로 참여하는 대규모 공연 캠페인이다. 음악을 통해 아이들이 정서적으로 성장하는 과정을 지역사회와 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
이번 공연은 관객들이 편안하게 즐길 수 있도록 클래식 명곡은 물론, 대중적인 영화 및 애니메이션 OST 등 풍성한 레퍼토리로 꾸며진다. 특히 대전꿈의오케스트라 강사진과 객원 연주자들이 함께하는 특별 무대가 더해져 공연의 깊이를 더할 예정이다.
가장 기대를 모으는 대목은 신규 단원들의 데뷔 무대다. 악기를 처음 접한 지 3개월이 채 되지 않은 신입 단원들이 기존 단원들과 호흡을 맞추기 위해 집중 교육과 합주 연습에 매진해 왔다. 서툰 첫걸음이지만 서로의 소리에 귀 기울이며 완성해 가는 화음이 관객들에게 진한 감동을 선사할 것으로 보인다.
백춘희 대전문화재단 대표이사는 “이번 무대는 아이들이 음악 안에서 배려와 협동을 배우며 일궈낸 소중한 자리”라며 “열정을 다해 무대를 준비한 단원들에게 시민 여러분의 따뜻한 박수와 격려를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

한편, 지난 2011년 첫발을 뗀 ‘대전꿈의오케스트라’는 올해 김형수 지휘자와 13명의 전문 강사, 60여 명의 단원이 참여하고 있다. 이들은 정기적인 레슨과 합주 활동을 통해 음악적 기량뿐만 아니라 사회 구성원으로서의 공동체 의식을 키워가고 있다.
