전라남도교육청과 광주광역시교육청은 지난 11일 오후 2시 전남교육청창의융합교육원에서 ‘제7차 교육행정체제통합 정보시스템 실무협의체’ 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 회의는 통합 교육청 출범에 맞춰 국가 교육기관 회계 시스템인 ‘K-에듀파인’의 재정 분야를 차질 없이 통합하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 교육부 교육행정체제통합지원단, 양 교육청 예산·결산 담당자, 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS), 시스템 개발 수행사인 ㈜아이티센 글로벌 관계자 등 50여 명이 참석해 심도 있는 기술 검토와 제도 보완 사항을 공유했다.
참석자들은 특히 양 교육청 간의 예산 이체 방안과 결산 기능 개발 범위를 중점적으로 논의했다. 이는 기관 통합 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 행정 공백을 최소화하고, 수조 원에 달하는 교육 예산의 흐름을 안정적으로 관리하기 위함이다.
이와 함께 통합 교육청 출범 이후 안정적인 회계 처리를 위해 필요한 후속 조치들도 다각도로 검토됐다. 주요 내용은 △기금 통합안 확정 및 운용 효율화 △통합 금고 지정을 위한 계약 체결 준비 △재정 분야 자치법규 및 지침 통합안 마련 등이다.
