국립산림치유원, YES24 도서 500권 기증…숲속도서관 문화공간 확대

이번 행사는 YES24가 기증한 도서를 숲속도서관에 비치해 방문객과 직원들이 보다 쾌적한 환경에서 독서를 즐길 수 있도록 마련됐다. 기증 도서는 치유원을 찾는 이용객과 직원 누구나 자유롭게 열람할 수 있으며, 자연 속에서 독서와 휴식을 함께 누릴 수 있는 문화공간 조성에 활용될 예정이다.

특히 이번 기증은 민간기업과 공공기관이 협력해 문화자원을 공유하고 지역사회 나눔 문화를 확산하는 사례라는 점에서 의미를 더한다. 도서관 장서 확충과 이용 환경 개선을 통해 독서문화 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

이날 기증식은 임종득 국회의원(경북 영주시·영양군·봉화군)이 숲속도서관 운영 활성화를 위해 YES24와 함께 마련했다.

김기현 국립산림치유원장은 “이번 도서 기증은 숲속도서관의 이용 가치를 높이고 국민에게 더 나은 문화 휴식 공간을 제공하는 뜻깊은 나눔”이라며 “앞으로도 숲에서 책과 함께 쉼을 누릴 수 있도록 다양한 문화 기반을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The National Forest Healing Center (Acting Director Hwang Seong-tae), under the Korea Forest Welfare Institute of the Korea Forest Service, received a donation of 500 books from YES24 and held a book donation ceremony for its Forest Library.

This event was organized to place the books donated by YES24 in the Forest Library, allowing visitors and staff to enjoy reading in a more pleasant environment. The donated books are available for free browsing to all users and staff visiting the center and will be utilized to create a cultural space where people can enjoy both reading and relaxation amidst nature.
