홍천군은 지난 16일 오후 2시 홍천읍 꽃뫼공원 일원에서 제333차 「안전 점검의 날」 캠페인을 전개했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 3월 '안전 한바퀴' 활동의 핵심 주제인 ‘아이 먼저 홍보 캠페인’의 일환으로 기획됐다. 군민의 생활 속 안전의식을 고취하고, 무엇보다 어린이가 우선되는 교통 및 환경을 조성하기 위한 취지다.
이날 현장에는 안전 보안관을 비롯해 관계기관 관계자 20여 명이 참여해 꽃뫼공원 이용객과 인근 주민들을 직접 만나며 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
참여자들은 횡단보도 앞 일시 정지 등 필수적인 어린이 교통안전 수칙을 집중적으로 홍보했다. 더불어 건강한 먹거리 제공과 생활 주변 위해요소 점검의 중요성도 함께 알리며 안전의 생활화를 강조했다.
