<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 이건문 기자> K water Tech 횡성원주권사업소가 횡성군 청일면의 주거 취약계층을 위해 전문 기술을 활용한 따뜻한 재능기부에 나섰다.
K water Tech 횡성원주권사업소 봉사단은 지난 5일과 10일, 11일 총 3일에 걸쳐 청일면 내 주거환경이 열악한 7가구를 방문해 노후 전기시설 점검 및 교체 봉사활동을 펼쳤다고 17일 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 지난 2025년 횡성군, K water Tech 횡성원주권사업소, 횡성군지역사회보장협의체가 공동으로 체결한 「밝은빛 스위치 온(ON)」 업무협약의 일환으로 추진됐다.
이날 봉사단은 2개 조로 나뉘어 취약가구의 낡은 전기 배전함, 콘센트, 스위치 등 화재와 감전 위험에 노출된 부품들을 새것으로 교체하며 안전한 주거 환경을 조성하는 데 구슬땀을 흘렸다.

변영성 청일면장은 “전문적인 기술로 무장한 봉사단 여러분이 청일면 취약가구의 든든한 버팀목이 되어주셔서 깊이 감사드린다”며 고마움을 표했다.
이어 “특히 전기선이 끊어져 춥고 어두운 겨울을 보내셔야 했던 한 어르신이 이번 지원을 통해 밝고 따뜻한 일상을 되찾으시게 되어 무척 안심이 된다”고 덧붙였다.
