대전 유성구가 행정안전부의 2025년 정보공개 종합평가에서 전국 561개 기관 중 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다. 행정 투명성 강화의 모범 사례다.
평가는 사전정보 공표·원문정보 공개·청구처리·고객관리·제도운영 등 5개 분야 12개 지표로 이뤄졌다. 유성구는 전년 대비 2.8점 상승하며 모든 분야에서 평균 이상 성과를 냈다.
사전정보 공표에서는 정보를 체계 분류하고 검색 기능을 강화해 접근성을 높인 점, 원문정보 공개에서는 문서 요약 첨부와 부분공개 범위 확대가 호평받았다. 청구처리 적정성 부문에서도 법적 근거와 사유를 명확히 제시한 투명 처리가 강점으로 꼽혔다.
유성구 관계자는 “정보공개는 주민 알권리 보장과 신뢰 행정의 기본”이라며 “체계적 운영으로 책임 있는 공개 문화를 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daejeon Yuseong-gu was selected as the top institution among 561 institutions nationwide in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 2025 comprehensive information disclosure evaluation. This achievement is a model example of enhanced administrative transparency.
The evaluation was based on 12 indicators across five categories: pre-disclosure of information, disclosure of full-text information, claims processing, customer management, and system operation. Yuseong-gu achieved above-average performance in all categories, rising 2.8 points from the previous year.
In the pre-disclosure of information, the district received favorable reviews for its systematic classification of information and enhanced search functionality to enhance accessibility. In the full-text disclosure category, the district's inclusion of document summaries and expanded scope of partial disclosure were also recognized as strengths. In the category of appropriateness of claims processing, the district's transparent processing, clearly presenting legal grounds and justifications, was also cited as a strength.
A Yuseong-gu official stated, “Information disclosure is the foundation of guaranteeing residents’ right to know and trustworthy administration,” and added, “We will continue to maintain a responsible culture of disclosure through systematic operation.”
