대전·세종·충남 선거관리위원회는 제9회 전국동시지방선거 시장·구청장, 시·도의원 예비후보자 등록을 2월20일부터 받는다고 13일 공지했다. 군수·군의원선거는 3월22일 개시된다.
선거일 기준 만 18세 이상(2008년6월4일 이전 출생)이라면 관할 선관위에 신청서와 가족관계증명서, 전과·학력 증명서 등을 제출하면 된다.
시장·구청장선거는 기탁금 1000만원의 20%(200만원), 시·도의원 300만원의 20%(60만원), 구·시의원 200만원의 20%(40만원)를 납부해야 한다.
청년과 장애인을 위한 감면도 있다. 장애인이나 29세 이하(1996년6월5일~2008년6월4일 출생)는 50%, 30~39세(1986년6월5일~1996년6월4일 출생)는 70%만 납부하면 된다.
등록자는 후원회를 구성해 시장·구청장(선거비용제한액 50%), 시·도의원(5000만원), 구·시의원(3000만원)까지 모금할 수 있다.
공무원 등 출마 제한자는 선거 90일 전인 3월5일까지 사직해야 하지만, 현직 시장·구청장·시·도의원·구·시의원은 직위를 유지하며 등록 가능하다.
