브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 지난 10일과 11일 각각 대전시 대덕구 목상동 대전공장과 충남 금산군 제원면 금산공장에서 각각 설맞이 ‘ON(溫)나눔 명절키트’ 제작 봉사활동을 전개했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 활동은 설 명절을 앞두고 소외된 이웃들에게 사랑의 손길을 건네며 지역사회와 상생하는 나눔 문화 확산을 목적으로 기획됐다. 지주회사 한국앤컴퍼니의 후원과 한국타이어 대전공장과 금산공장 임직원들의 자발적인 참여 가운데, 식료품과 생활용품 등으로 구성된 키트를 직접 제작, 고물가로 겨울나기 준비에 어려움을 겪는 이웃들의 부담을 경감시키며 나눔의 의미를 더했다.
이날 마련된 명절키트는 대전시 대덕구자원봉사센터, 금산군 제원면행정복지센터를 통해 관내 독거 어르신을 비롯한 소외계층 가정 100가구에 각각 전달됐다.
한국타이어 서의돈 안전생산기술본부장은 “임직원의 정성이 더해진 명절키트가 지역사회 소외 이웃들에게 따뜻한 온기로 전해져 평안한 명절을 보내는 데 힘이 되기를 희망한다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와의 긴밀한 협력을 바탕으로 회사의 도움이 필요한 곳을 세심하게 살피며 따뜻한 동행을 이어나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.
