정청래 더불어민주당 대표는 이재명 대표에게 누를 끼쳤다고 대국민 사과 표시를 했으나, 정작 진짜 사과표명 내용에 있어서는 이를 왜곡시킴으로써 국민을 속였습니다. 마치 민주당에 특검 검사를 임용할 씨스템이 없어서 문제가 발생했다는 듯이 발표했는데, 그 동안의 관례는 인사임용 위원회의 특검 검사 후보 추천을 받고, 또 여러 관련 의원들의 추천을 받은 후에 법사위원회에서 검증을 하고, 후보군을 최고위원회에 올리면, 최고위원회에서 대표와 최종 검토한 후에 결론이 나면 이를 원내 대표실에 보내고, 이를 원내대표실에서 청와대로 올리는 씨스템으로 운영되어 왔다는 겁니다.
하지만 정청래 대표는 이 복잡한 절차를 모두 무시하고, 독단적으로 이성윤 의원에게 추천자를 찾아보라고 지시한 후, 별 검토도 없이 이성윤 의원이 추천한 인물들을 청와대의 반대에도 불구하고 그대로 청와대에 올린 것입니다.
유시민이 "절차는 중요치 않고 내용이 중요하다"고 한 말을 그대로 실천한 셈입니다.
하지만 민주주의를 쟁취하기 위해 역사적으로 투쟁하며 흘린 모든 피는 바로 이 절차의 민주주의를 쟁취하기 위해서 흘린 피인 것입니다.
과거 일부 귀족들과 왕에 의해 전제적으로 결정되어 온 모든 국정사안들에 대해 , '국민의 국민에 의한 국민의 정치', 즉 대의 민주주의 정치를 실현 시키기 위해 그토록 많은 피를 흘려 온 것이 민주주의 운동의 역사인 것입니다.
그런데 소위 민주주의 운동권에 속해 있었던 유시민이, 절차는 중요치 않고 내용이 중요하다고 발언한 것은 민주주의를 부정한 것이며, 민주주의 열사들이 흘린 피의 의미를 모독한 것이고, 유시민의 말 그대로 모든 복잡한 민주적 절차를 무시하면서 특검 검사 추천과 합당안을 강행한 정청래의 처사는 민주주의의 적인 바로 독재주의적이라 아니 할 수가 없습니다.
따라서 정청래 대표는 독재적인 당 운영을 해온데 대해 사과했었어야 함에도, 민주당의 씨스템 미비 때문에 문제가 생겼으니 이를 보완하겠다고 하는 거짓말을 국민과 당원 앞에서 얼굴도 붉히지 않고 당당하게 말했습니다. 그러한 부끄러움을 모르는 태도는 국민들과 특히 민주당원들로 하여금 정 대표가 혹 국민의힘의 대표가 아닌지 의심하게 만들고 있습니다.
이성윤 의원의 경우도 마찬가지입니다. 오마이뉴스 기사에서 전준철에 대한 자기의 변호가 모두 허위였다는 사실이 밝혀졌음에도 불구하고 여전히 같은 거짓말을 SNS에 늘어 놓으면서 조금도 부끄러워 하는 태도를 찾아 볼 수가 없습니다. 그렇다면 대통령이 화를 낸 것이 잘못되었다는 건가요? 피해 당사자인 대통령이 잘못 알고 있다는 것인가요?
