<브레이크뉴스 원주=이용하 기자>원주시가 고향사랑기부금을 활용해 지역사회의 실질적인 변화를 이끌어낼 참신한 아이디어를 찾는다.
시는 기부자와 시민 모두가 공감할 수 있는 맞춤형 정책을 발굴하기 위해 오는 30일까지 ‘내가 만드는 고향, 지정기부사업 아이디어 공모전’을 개최한다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 공모전은 고향사랑기부제로 조성된 기금을 어디에 사용할지 시민과 기부자가 직접 제안하는 참여형 행정의 일환이다. 기부금 집행의 투명성을 높이고, 기부자가 자신의 기부금이 어떻게 쓰이는지 직접 확인할 수 있도록 해 ‘기부 만족도’를 극대화한다는 취지다.
공모 주제는 기부금을 활용해 추진할 수 있는 사업비 1억 원 이내의 단년도 소규모 사업이다. 공모 분야는 ▲사회적 취약계층 지원 및 청소년 보호 ▲지역 주민의 문화·예술·보건 증진 ▲지역공동체 활성화 ▲주민 복리 증진 등 다양한 영역을 아우른다.
시는 접수된 제안을 대상으로 실현 가능성과 창의성, 지역 기여도 등을 종합 심사해 3월 중 최종 결과를 발표할 예정이다. 수상자에게는 최고 30만 원 상당의 지역상품권이 수여되며, 발굴된 최우수 아이디어는 검토를 거쳐 실제 원주시 정책으로 추진되는 영예를 안게 된다.
