주요 반영 사업으로는 ▲농어촌 기본소득 시범사업(162억 원) ▲동부지구 농촌공간정비사업(49억 원) ▲지방소멸대응기금(120억 원) ▲영양·입암 통합 농어촌 생활용수 개발사업(46억 원) ▲군립공원묘원 조성사업(34억 원) ▲마을하수도 설치공사(29억 원) ▲재해위험 개선지구 정비사업(45억 원) ▲풍수해 생활권 종합정비(10억 원) ▲선바위 분재수목원 및 수석전시관 리모델링(30억 원) 등이 포함됐다.
특히 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업은 2년간 총 754억 원이 투입되는 대규모 사업으로, 지역 인구감소 및 소비 위축 문제 해결에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 지방소멸 대응기금은 전국 최우수 등급으로 선정돼 120억 원을 확보했으며, 이를 바탕으로 농촌생활안전교육센터, 공공임대형 주거타운, 영양형 그린파크, 청년 성장 플랫폼 구축 등 정주 여건 개선 사업이 본격화될 전망이다.

아울러 국립영양자작누리 치유의 숲 조성을 확정하고 2026년 기본계획 수립을 거쳐 2029년까지 54ha 규모로 세계자작공원, 탐방로, 전망대 등을 조성해 영양자작나무숲과 연계한 관광 시너지 확대를 추진한다.
교통 인프라 개선 사업 역시 포함돼, 국도 31호선 선형개량공사는 설계를 마치고 연내 착공이 예정되어 지역 접근성 향상에 기여할 전망이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 국도비 확보는 영양군과 임종득 국회의원의 긴밀한 공조 결과”라며 “다수의 지역 공약 사업이 반영된 만큼 향후 실행력을 높여 지역발전 성과로 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
