국민의힘 대전광역시당이 21일 당사 5층 강당에서 주요 당직자 1차 임명장 수여식을 열고 내년 지방선거 준비를 위한 조직 재편 작업에 본격적으로 착수했다. 이번 인선은 시당의 역량을 실무 중심으로 재배치하고, 지역 현장에서 직접 체감할 수 있는 정당 활동으로 전환하겠다는 구상 아래 추진됐다.
이은권 시당위원장은 현재 정치·행정 환경이 복잡하게 전개되고 있다며 지역정당의 책임 있는 대응이 어느 때보다 필요하다고 강조했다. 그는 당직자들이 각자의 자리에서 시민과의 소통을 강화하고 조직 내 협력 구조를 단단히 구축해야 한다고 설명했다. 또한 앞으로 대전시당이 시민 의견을 면밀히 파악하고 지역 현안 해결의 중심축 역할을 수행함으로써 실력 있는 정당으로 도약하겠다는 의지를 밝히기도 했다.
