특히 광주형 인공지능 산업 생태계의 핵심인 'AX(AI Transformation) 실증밸리' 조성 계획과 AI 모빌리티 산업 육성 전략을 중점적으로 소개하며, AI를 통한 지역 미래 성장동력 확보 의지를 강조한다.
AX 실증밸리는 지역 전략산업인 모빌리티·에너지 분야의 AI 전환을 지원하고, 시민과 기업이 쉽게 활용하는 ‘광주형 모두의 AI’ 실현 및 AI 기반 도시·생활 혁신 기술을 실증하는 사업이다.
또한, AI 센서·차량제어·주행데이터 분석기술이 결합된 AI 모빌리티 산업을 통해 광주가 미래 교통혁신을 선도하는 핵심 분야로 자리매김하고 있음을 보여준다.

한편, 광주시는 ‘2025년도 지역균형발전 및 시행계획 우수사례’에 선정되어 이번 엑스포에서 기관 표창을 수상하는 쾌거도 이뤘다.
