고양시, 2025 손기정 평화마라톤대회 성료

고양특례시는 2025 손기정 평화마라톤대회가 지난 16일 고양종합운동장과 제2자유로 일대에서 성공적으로 열렸다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 손기정기념재단과 SPOTV가 주최하고 문화체육관광부와 고양시 등이 후원했다.

평화마라톤대회는 '광복은 자유다'라는 슬로건 아래, 손기정 선수의 정신을 계승하고 기념하기 위한 광복 80주년 정부 기념사업의 일환으로 개최됐다.

풀코스, 하프코스, 10km 등 3개 종목에 20,000여 명이 참가해, 손기정 선수의 애국정신과 굳은 의지를 되새기며 자동차 없는 제2자유로를 자유롭게 달렸다.
