청도군, 추석 연휴 앞두고 도로 확·포장 공사 조기 준공

군은 군도와 농어촌도로 등 생활밀착형 노선을 중심으로 공사를 추진했으며, 도로 확장과 노후 포장 정비, 배수로 설치, 안전시설 보강 등을 병행해 주민들의 통행 편의와 교통 안전을 크게 높였다.

이번에 준공된 주요 사업은 ▲남양1(사골) 도로 확·포장공사(L=674m, B=6.5m, 사업비 9억 원) ▲용산(중산) 도로 확·포장공사(L=551m, B=3.0~6.0m, 사업비 13억 원) ▲구룡마을 진입로 확·포장공사(L=380m, B=4.4~5.0m, 사업비 6억 원) ▲부야1쇠실(리도209호선) 도로 확·포장공사(L=400m, B=7.0~8.0m, 사업비 5억 원) 등이다.

특히 협소한 도로 폭으로 상시 교행 불편을 겪던 구간을 집중 정비해 교통사고 위험을 줄이고 차량 소통을 원활하게 했으며, 농산물 운송이 많은 지역 특성상 물류·교통망 개선을 통해 농가 출하 편의와 지역 경제 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

김하수 청도군수는 “이번 도로 확·포장 공사는 단순한 기반시설 정비가 아니라 군민 안전과 삶의 질 향상으로 이어지는 중요한 사업”이라며 “앞으로도 지속적인 도로 환경 개선으로 안전과 편의를 모두 갖춘 청도를 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
