(브레이크뉴스 광주·전남) 이학수 기자=전남도는 23일 서울 피스앤파크 컨벤션홀에서 지역활성화 투자 펀드 대상사업 발굴과 펀드 유치를 위해 지역활성화투자개발원과 업무협약을 했다.
지역활성화투자개발원은 학계와 금융 등 관계기관 전문가로 이뤄졌다. 금융구조 연구와 컨설팅, 교육 등을 수행하는 민간 전문 투자기관이다.
협약에 따라 전남도와 지역활성화투자개발원은 ▲지역활성화 투자사업 공동 발굴 ▲지역활성화 투자 펀드 유치 전략 수립 및 교육·컨설팅 ▲지역활성화 정책 연구 등 다양한 분야에서 상호협력을 강화할 계획이다.
그동안 전남도는 지역활성화 투자 펀드 대상 사업으로 발굴해 관리 중인 장성 데이터센터 구축, 완도 명품 리조트 건립, 해남 기업도시 구성지구 개발, 해남 솔라시도 특급호텔 건립, 고흥 우주테마 리조트 건립 등 5개 민간사업을 지역 활성화 투자 펀드 대상 사업으로 발굴해 펀드 유치를 위해 차근차근 준비했다.
이번 협약을 계기로 전문 투자기관인 지역활성화투자개발원의 도움을 받아 2025년 본격적인 펀드 신청을 추진할 예정이다.
박창환 전남도 경제부지사는 “아직 지역활성화 투자 펀드 제도와 민간 금융기법에 일선 현장에서 낯설어 함이 있었다”며 “앞으로 전문 투자기관의 도움을 받아 준비 중인 대규모 민간투자사업이 속도감 있게 추진되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
