윤석열 대통령 지지율이 50%를 기록했다는 여론조사 결과가 나왔다. 이는 지난 대선 당시 윤 대통령 당선 득표율인 48.56%를 넘어선 값이다. 거대 야권에 의한 정부 인사 줄탄핵, 독선적 입법 폭주, 특검법 남발, 형사사법체계 붕괴, 카톡 검열 입틀막 논란 등이 복합적으로 작용하며 윤 대통령 지지율 상승을 견인하는 것으로 풀이된다.
이같은 수치는 아시아투데이가 한국여론평판연구소(KOPRA)에 의뢰해 1월 17~18일 이틀간 전국 만 18세 이상 남녀 1003명을 대상으로 조사해 얻은 집계다. 긍정평가 50%(매우 지지 42%, 지지하는 편 8%)에, 부정평가는 49%(전혀 지지하지 않음 42%, 지지하지 않는 편 7%)로 나타났다. '잘 모름'은 1%였다.
이를 연령별로 보면 18~29세(긍정 46% : 부정 52%), 30대(44% : 56%), 40대(43% : 57%), 50대(42% : 57%), 60대(57% : 42%), 70세 이상(69% : 29%)를 보였다. 그간 윤 대통령 지지율이 상대적으로 취약하게 여겨졌던 4050 세대에서 크게 회복된 것을 알 수 있다.
지역별로는 서울(긍정 52% : 부정 46%), 인천·경기(48% : 52%), 대전·세종·충청(44% : 54%), 광주·전라(41% : 58%), 대구·경북(56% : 44%), 부산·울산·경남(54% : 43%), 강원·제주(59% : 41%)였다. 서울, 강원·제주, 영남 지역에서는 50%를 넘었으며, 호남에서도 41%를 얻었다는 점은 매우 고무적이다.
정당 지지율에 있어서는 국민의힘 46%, 더불어민주당 35%를 찍었다. 국민의힘이 민주당을 무려 11%p 앞서며 오차범위 밖으로 밀어냈다. 그외 조국혁신당 5%, 개혁신당 3%, 진보당 2%, 기타정당 3%, 지지정당 없음 8%, 잘모름 0%였다.
이번 조사는 무선 RDD를 이용한 ARS조사 방식으로 진행했다. 응답률은 11.9%이며 2024년 12월 말 행정안전부 주민등록 인구기준으로 성별·연령별·지역별 가중값을 부여했고, 표본오차는 95% 신뢰수준에 ±3.1%p다. 보다 자세한 내용은 중앙선거여론조사심의위원회 홈페이지를 참조하면 된다.

The response rate was 11.9%, and weights were applied by gender, age, and region based on the resident registration population of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as of the end of December 2024.
