대전광역시의회 조원휘 의장이 최근 두 가지의 공로로 주목받고 있다.
조 의장은 대한민국ROTC중앙회로부터 공적패를, 농업협동조합중앙회로부터 감사패를 수여받았다.
조 의장은 지난 2023년 12월 27일 대전현충원에서 열린 ROTC 참배 행사에서 대한민국ROTC중앙회로부터 공적패를 받았다.
이 상은 조 의장이 올바른 의정활동을 통해 ROTC의 영예를 높이고, 지역사회 발전 및 시민의 공공복리를 증진한 데 대한 감사의 표시로 수여되었다.
조 의장은 수상 소감에서 “대한민국 ROTC 장교 출신으로서 자긍심을 느끼며, 대전광역시의회 의장으로서 국가에 충성하고 시민에 봉사하며 지역발전과 민주주의의 가치를 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
이어, 지난 12월 31일에는 농업협동조합중앙회로부터 감사패를 받았다.
농업협동조합중앙회는 대전본부에서 열린 2024년 농정활동 유공 감사패 전달식에서 조 의장이 농업에 대한 깊은 관심과 애정으로 농촌사회 발전을 위해 열정적으로 의정활동을 펼친 것에 대해 감사의 뜻을 전하며 감사패를 수여하였다.
조 의장은 “앞으로 농업발전에 집행기관과 긴밀히 협력하여 농산물의 소비촉진과 농업인의 소득증진을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 다짐했다.
