브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 경제정의실천시민연합(경실련)은 14일 윤석열 대통령 탄핵소추안이 국회를 통과한데 대해 "탄핵안 가결을 환영하며, 이를 계기로 헌법적 질서와 민주주의가 바로 서길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
경실련은 이날 탄핵안 가결 직후 입장문을 내고 "위헌적 계엄령 선포로 헌정 질서를 심각하게 훼손한 대통령의 행위에 대한 국민적 심판이자, 민주주의 회복을 위한 중대한 전환점"이라며 이같이 말했다.
이어 "국민과 국회가 단호히 대처한 것은 당연하다"라며 "오늘 국회의 탄핵소추안 가결은 계엄령 선포의 위헌성과 그 심각성을 헌법적으로 판단한 결과이며, 민주주의를 수호하려는 국민의 의지가 집결된 역사적 승리"라고 평가했다.
또한 "윤 대통령은 여전히 계엄령 선포의 정당성을 주장하며 자신의 잘못을 인정하지 않고 있다"면서 "윤 대통령을 비롯한 책임자들에 대해 헌법과 법에 따른 엄중한 심판이 이루어져야 한다"고 강조했다.
그러면서 "한덕수 권한대행은 공석인 헌법재판관 3명을 신속히 임명해 헌법재판소의 기능을 정상화해야 한다"라며 "헌법재판소는 계엄 선포의 내용적·절차적 정당성과 대통령의 직무수행 가능 여부를 포함해 탄핵소추안을 철저히 심리해야 한다"고 말했다.
