[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 1일 오후 이한경 행정안전부 차관(재난안전관리본부장) 등과 함께 처인구 남사읍 진목리 일대 폭설로 피해입은 농가를 방문해 현장을 살피고 피해 농민 지원대책을 논의했다.
이 시장은 앞서 11월 29일 기록적인 폭설로 큰 피해를 본 처인구 남사읍 농가 3곳을 찾아 농민들을 위로하고, 피해가 큰 지역에 대해선 중앙정부가 특별재난구역으로 지정해 보다 신속하고 과감한 지원이 이뤄질 수 있도록 노력하겠다고 밝힌 바 있다.
1일 이상일 시장과 이한경 차관은 신속한 복구와 농민의 생활 안정을 위해 정부와 지방자치단쳬의 적극적 협력과 지원이 필요하다는 데 의견을 같이하면서 긴밀히 소통하는 등 공조체제를 적극 가동하기로 했다.
이 시장과 이 차관이 방문한 처인구 남사읍 진목리 일대 화훼단지는 11월 27일부터 28일까지 내린 폭설로 인해 큰 피해를 입은 지역 중 하나다.
이곳에서는 하우스 22동 약 9940㎡가 피해를 입었다. 시는 해당 하우스 농가의 피해 금액은 약 13억원 수준으로 추정하고 있다.
