평택시에 지난 11월 27일부터 28일까지 누적 적설량 39cm로 기록적인 폭설이 내렸으며 1일 현재 이로 인하여 가집계된 피해액만 농업피해 299억 원, 축산피해 238억 원 등 500억 원 이상이며, 추가적인 피해집계가 예상된다.
축사 및 비닐하우스 등 농·축산시설, 공장, 소상공인 등 650여 건의 사유재산 피해와 교통신호등, 가로수 전도 등 600건, 야외체육시설 4건 등 공공시설의 피해가 발생하였다.
