브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표가 1심에서 유죄를 선고받자, 민주당 내에선 이 대표를 지켜야 한다는 목소리가 터져나왔다.
"비명계(비이재명계)가 움직이면 죽이겠다", "이재명 대표는 신의 사제" 등의 격한 발언까지 나오면서 '이재명 지키기'에 힘을 싣는 분위기다.
최민희 민주당 의원은 지난 16일 서울 광화문에서 열린 '김건희 윤석열 국정농단 규탄·특검촉구 제3차 국민행동의 날' 집회에 참석했는데 이 현장에서 '오마이TV'와 인터뷰하며 "(비명계가) 움직이면 죽는다. 제가 당원과 함께 죽일 것"이라고 말했다.
그는 "대한민국 기득권 세력이 똘똘 뭉쳐서 '이재명 죽이기'를 하고 있는 형국이라는 것이 제 인식"이라며 "김건희 정권이 무너지는 조짐이 보인다고 해서 쉽게 물러날 거냐, 그렇지 않다고 생각한다"고 주장했다.

또한 이재명 대표 비서실장인 이해식 의원은 자신의 페이스북에서 이재명 대표 사진을 올린 뒤 로마 황제 '마르쿠스 아우렐리우스'의 '명상록'을 인용하며 "더 훌륭한 인간이 되고자 노력을 기울이는 이런 사람이야말로 신의 사제요, 신의 종"이라고 적었다.
이 의원은 특히 이 대표를 '고귀한 싸움에 당당히 임하는 투사'로 묘사하면서 "격정에 휘말리지 않고 정의가 마음 속까지 가득 차있다"는 주장도 했다.
1심 선고 이후 18일 진행된 첫 최고위 회의에서도 이재명 지키기 발언은 이어졌다.
김민석 최고위원은 "정권교체는 대세이고 이재명은 그 중심에 있다"면서 "주술을 2000번 해도 아무리 잘못되게 판결해도 안 바뀌는 부동의 사실"이라고 했다.

전현희 최고위원은 "윤건희(윤석열·김건희) 정권이 자력으로 정권 창출이 불가해질 것 같으니 최대 걸림돌인 이재명 죽이기에 이어 대한민국 사법정의까지 말살하고 있다"라며 "이 대표와 국민과 함께 끝까지 싸워 반드시 승리할 것이다. 더 강한 민주당, 더 하나 된 민주당이 될 것"이라고 말하기도 했다.
