【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군은 오는 8일부터 27일까지 ‘2024년 가구주택 기초조사’를 실시한다.
통계청이 주관하는 가구주택 기초조사는 5년 주기로 실시되는 조사로, ‘2025 인구주택총조사’와 ‘농림어업총조사’의 정확한 조사구 설정과 표본추출틀을 구축하고 전국 모든 거처와 가구의 기초정보를 현행화하기 위해 마련됐다.
조사 대상은 일부 아파트를 제외하고 빈집을 포함한 관내 약 14,500가구며 주거 형태에 따라 주소, 거처 종류, 주거시설 형태 등 14개 항목을 조사한다.
조사는 조사요원이 직접 방문해 태블릿PC로 작성하는 전자 조사와 콜센터를 통한 전화 조사가 병행 실시된다.
통계작성을 위해 수집된 개인별 자료는 통계법에 따라 통계작성 목적 이외에는 사용할 수 없도록 엄격히 보호된다.
조사에 대비해 군은 지난 10월 23일과 24일 이틀간 조사요원 10여 명을 대상으로 조사지침 교육을 실시한 바 있다.
교육에서는 현장조사 안전수칙 및 요령, 태블릿PC로 진행되는 전자 조사에 대한 지침 숙지와 더불어 실습하는 시간을 가졌다.
군 관계자는 “조사를 통해 수집된 정보는 통계법 제33조에 따라 통계작성 외의 목적으로 사용할 수 없고 개인의 비밀에 대한 내용은 식별 불가능하게 전산처리된다”며 “조사표는 일정 시간 보관 후 파기되는 등 철저히 보호된다”고 말했다.
이어 “인구주택총조사 등 국가통계의 기초 정보를 파악하는 중요한 조사인 만큼 대상자들의 적극적인 응답을 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
