군은 가을을 맞아 시가지 곳곳에 국화로 거리를 장식해 가을을 만끽하려는 관광객들의 발길이 이어지고 있다고 31일 밝혔다.
단양읍 상상의 거리는 가든멈을 포함해 총 1,820본의 국화와 꽃 조형물 7점, 꽃마차 1점으로 마치 한 폭의 그림 같은 가을 정취를 선사하고 있다.
상진리 잔도길 역시 2,640본의 국화로 꾸며진 힐링 공간으로, 꽃 조형물 2점, 꽃마차 7점, 국화작품 3점이 설치되어 가을 내음을 만끽하며 산책을 즐길 수 있는 최적의 장소로 조성됐다.
특히 다누리센터 앞에는 다양한 색상의 댑싸리와 그라시로 수놓은 국화 꽃다발 작품이 설치되어 관광객들의 시선을 사로잡고 있다.
또 전국적으로 유명한 삼봉로 복자기 가로수 길은 단풍이 물든 복자기 가로수마다 국화 화분이 놓여, 마치 거대한 꽃다발 속을 걷는 듯한 느낌을 줘 관광객들에게 잊지 못할 가을의 추억을 선사하고 있다.
