용산동 통장협의회(협의회장 김경수)가 직접 모종을 심고 가꾸어, 10월 초 형설로(영진마트 ∼충주여고 사거리) 1.3km 구간에 심은 국화 500여 본이 활짝 펴 늦가을의 정취를 한껏 느끼게 하고 있다.
특히, 형설로 구간에 핀 국화는 모종을 심고 가꾸는 모든 과정에 자발적으로 주민이 참여하고 주도하여 더욱 의미가 크다.
용산동 통장협의회 김경수 회장은 “형설로 구간 국화꽃 만개에 이어서 ‘꿈자람골 용산동 국화 꽃길 나들이 행사’가 11월 16일 충주천변 용산동 구간에서 개최될 예정이다”라며 “용산동 주민을 비롯한 시민들이 많이 방문하여 가족, 연인과 함께 깊어 가는 늦가을의 정취를 느껴 보시면 좋겠다” 고 말했다.
금년 국화 꽃길 나들이 행사에는 △국화로 우린 국화차 시음 △ 국화전 시식 △ 추억의 간식 달고나 만들기 체험 등 다채로운 체험행사와 △국화꽃길 워크온 챌린지가 함께 진행될 예정이다.
