(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청연수도서관이 11월 유아와 초등학생을 대상으로 단기 특별프로그램을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
또선관에 따르면, 5~7세 유아와 보호자를 대상으로 11월 2일 진행되는 '나비 한 살이' 프로그램은 동화책 '참을 수 없는 애벌레'를 읽고, 자연물을 활용하여 나비의 한살이를 표현하는 독후 활동으로 구성된다.
초등 3~6학년을 대상으로 11월 9일부터 4주간 진행되는 '신나는 과학교실'은 물질의 성질, 빛, 에너지 등 다양한 과학 원리를 쉽고 재미있게 배우는 프로그램이다.
매주 새로운 주제로 실험과 체험 활동을 진행하며, 아이들의 과학적 호기심을 자극하고 탐구심을 키울 수 있도록 구성됐다.
1주차에는 물과 식용유의 성질과 밀도차이를 알아보고, 2주차에는 목욕할 때 손이 쭈글쭈글해지는 삼투압현상, 3주차에는 촛불, 프리즘 등을 이용해 빛의 스펙트럼 관찰, 마지막 4주차에서는 실생활에 사용되는 모터와 풍력발전기에 대해 알아 본다.
참가 신청은 10월 21일 월요일 오전 10시부터 연수도서관 누리집에서 가능하며, 자세한 내용은 연수도서관 독서문화과로 문의하면 된다.
또한, 연수도서관은 1층 디지털자료실에서 10월 ‘감동’을 주제로 한 추천 영화를 전시한다.
연수도서관은 매월 다양한 주제의 DVD를 선정하여, 지역 주민들에게 제공하고 있다.
전시된 DVD는 자료실 내에서 바로 감상할 수 있으며, 비치된 약 8,000여 편의 DVD를 1인당 5편까지 대출할 수 있다.
10월 추천 영화로는 마라톤 영웅 손기정 선수의 이야기를 담은 ‘1947 보스톤’, 최약체 농구부의 감동 실화 ‘리바운드’, 컬링선수들의 성장을 그린 ‘못말리는 컬링부’, 스키점프 국가대표팀의 우여곡절을 그린 ‘국가대표’, 선생님과 제자들의 이야기 ‘카운트’, 전쟁 포로의 실화를 다룬 ‘언브로큰’ 등 총 6편이다.

또한, 연수도서관이 다문화가족이 많은 연수구의 지역적 특색을 반영하여 다양한 다문화 어울림 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
오는 16일부터 청학중학교 다문화 학생들을 대상으로 “나도 번역가!” 프로그램을 시작한다.
이번 프로그램을 통해 학생들은 한국어 그림책을 함께 읽고 러시아어로 번역하여 그림책을 직접 만들어 보는 특별한 경험을 할 수 있다.
연수도서관은 이번 프로그램 외에도 문남초등학교 고학년 다문화 학생들을 대상으로 그림책 속 주인공을 인형으로 만들어보는 등 다채로운 프로그램을 운영중이다.
