책을 읽는다는 것은 지혜를 아주 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 방법이다. 하지만 우리나라 사람들은 책보다는 경험을 중시한다. 책을 많이 읽기를 권장하지만 안되는 게 사실이다. 그렇다면 내가 생활하는 공간 집을 북카페로 만든다면 환경을 바꿔야 사람이 바뀌는 법이다.
용인 수지의 동문굿모닝힐6차 48평 아파트 리모델링 현장. 일반적인 리모델링과는 달리 책을 읽을 수 있는 공간을 컨셉으로 거실만 보면 책을 읽는 북카페를 연상시킨다. 이번 리모델링 공사는 커먼아이디(commonI.D)가 진행했다.
현관
큰 폭의 테라조 타일 마감을 진행하여 콘크리트 느낌의 내추럴한 현관 디자인을 연출했다. 신발장과 마주한 벽면으로는 스텐 프레임의 전신 거울을 구성해 시각적 세련미를 강조했다.
우드 텍스처의 간살 슬라이딩 중문은 현관에서 들어오는 먼지와 찬기를 막는 기능적 장점과 함께 동양적 인테리어 포인트로 손색없다.

거실
발코니 확장으로 공간감을 확대시키면서 한 면을 채운 책장형 거실 벽면 연출로 공간의 컨셉과 실용성까지 두마리 토끼를 잡았다. 양방향 레일 조명 시공은 다각도의 조도 연출로 공간 무드를 감성적으로 이끌어 냈다. 발코니 중심의 테이블 스타일링을 통해 휴식과 독서, 식사의 모든 기능을 깔끔하게 구현해냈다.

주방
강마루에서 타일 마감으로 바닥재를 전환하여 시각적 공간 레이아웃을 깔끔하게 변화시킨 주방. 가벽 안쪽으로 깔끔히 매립된 냉장고장 및 키큰장 제작은 수납적 기능까지 깔끔하게 마감했다. 아일랜드 하부장과 발코니 도어, 그리고 우측 벽면으로는 우드 텍스처를 입혀 모노 톤의 차가움을 따뜻하게 보완해 주는 화이트 우드 인테리어가 돋보인다.

침실
에어드레서 빌트인 구성의 붙박이장 제작으로 깔끔한 가전 & 가구 레이아웃을 연출했다. 사각 템바 보드 디자인의 우드 헤드 보드 제작은 따뜻하고 감각적인 패턴이 침실의 매력을 높여주는 포인트 요소가 되었으며 침실 등에 설치한 마그네틱 조명은 눈의 피로를 더는 동시에 세련된 분위기를 연출한다.

안방 욕실
1200각 타일의 고급스러운 텍스처를 욕실 전체로 활용함으로 인해 공간 자체를 하나의 작품으로 만들어냈다. 욕조를 감싸주는 조적 파티션 제작은 흡사 조적 욕조의 고급스러운 디자인이 전달되는 시각적 효과를 주기에 충분했다. 욕조 앞 벽면으로도 젠다이를 시공하면서 선반 활용성과 함께 깔끔한 배관 구성을 완성한 안방 욕실을 보여줬다.

자녀방
벽지 컬러의 차이점을 활용하여 디자인 컨셉과 공간 무드를 다른 개성으로 꾸민 것이 특징인 자녀방의 모습. 두 자녀방 모두 레일 & 마그네틱 조명을 적극적으로 사용했다. 자녀방 한 곳은 확장된 발코니 공간으로 윈도우 시트를 제작해 특별한 쉼과 공부 공간을 만들었다.

거실욕실
거실 욕실은 안방 욕실과 동일한 1200각 타일 마감으로 전체적인 디자인과 무드를 고급스럽게 연출했다. 샤워실 앞으론 조적 파티션을 제작해 깔끔한 구조 분리를 구성하였으며, 샤워실 안쪽 벽면으로는 'ㄱ'자 라인의 젠다이 및 간접 등박스를 시공, 사용성과 아늑한 무드를 추가했다.
