공장 증설이 완료되면 약 50명의 고용창출 효과가 발생할 것으로 예상된다.
천지바이오는 영동군의 일라이트를 활용한 기능성 비료를 개발·생산하는 업체로 지난해 11월, 영동군과 153억원 규모의 투자협약을 체결한 바 있다. 현재 영동산업단지 14,381.7㎡ 면적에 공장을 증설 중이며 2027년 완공 예정이다.
