브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 윤석열 정부가 종합부동산세 중과세율 완화 등을 추진하면서 올해 다주택자들의 종부세 부담이 확 줄은 것으로 나타났다.
1일 기획재정부와 국세청에 따르면 올해 1세대 1주택자의 종부세 고지 대상은 11만1000명으로, 작년 23만5000명 대비 53%(12만4000명) 줄었다.
특히 다주택자 종부세 고지 대상은 24만2000명으로, 전년 90만4000명과 비교하면 73%(66만2000명)나 줄었다. 올해 다주택자 고지 대상자수는 2014년 이후 10년 만에 최소 규모다.
다주택자의 세금 완화 폭은 1주택보다 크게 높았다.
다주택자 종부세 세액은 4000억원으로, 지난해 2조3000억원과 비교 시 84%(1조90000억원) 급감했다.
반면 1세대 1주택자 종부세 고지세액은 905억원으로, 작년 2562억원에서 65%(1657억원) 감소했다.
이같은 결과는 윤석열 정부가 부동사 세제를 대폭 완화한 영향이다.
공시가격을 2020년 수준으로 동결 내지는 큰 폭으로 하락시켰고, 기본공제금액의 경우에도 1세대 1주택자는 1억원 인상(11억→12억원)에 그친 반면 다주택자는 3억원(6억→9억원)이나 인상됐다.
또한 지방저가주택 1채를 보유한 경우 등 2주택자의 중과세율 적용도 배제하면서 과세표준에 따른 기본세율이 최소 0.1%p에서 최대 0.3%p 낮아진 효과가 나타났다.
3주택자 이상의 경우에는 과표 12억원까지 일반세율을 적용, 12억원 초과시 세율은 1.0~1.6%p 낮아졌다.
이에 대해 기재부 관계자는 "다주택자의 과세인원 축소 및 세액 감소는 다주택자에게 징벌적으로 적용된 중과세율 등이 부동산 세제 정상화로 개선된 결과"라고 설명했다.
